I played the normie girlfriend in one of our demo TTRPG game sessions and have been looking for an excuse to revisit those characters. The demo was us rescuing my character’s girlfriend from a werewolf cult. They had Valley Girl accents, but I don’t think that will translate as well on paper. 😂

“Early praise for my debut novel” over the cover of My Thorns For Your Roses.

“Faithful to the lore where it matters… and interesting where it diverged.”

“This book felt very much like an adult version of a fairy tale and I enjoyed the style very very much.”

“The fact the author didn’t shy away from the inherent queerness of being a shapeshifter made me extremely happy.”

“The romance is my favorite kind - a sweet and affect slow burn, both tender and loving.”

“I absolutely adored this book. It brought back a whimsy in me I had long forgotten.”

“I loved the intimacy, the little ways they showed their care for one another.”

“This book… has some of my favorite shapeshifting representation ever; it felt like Nimona to me. The shapeshifting is not just a skill or a trick; it is part of the character.”
