Knowing I research spiritual abuse, people often point me toward resources that perpetuate harm. I was recently given a booklet called “Correction & Discipline of Children” (John R. Rice, 1946). It is one of the most alarming & heartbreaking original sources I’ve ever read. 1/8

#Spiritualabuse is hard to define because it’s so complex & can occur in any spiritual setting or relationship. Here is a brief definition I compiled. In my book, I explain why I chose each word/phrase. You will notice I don't use language specific to any religious group. What resonates with you?
