Great first day of our showcase at the Museum of Liverpool, we had a number of school groups in yesterday and the private view for all the kids and parents who took part in the art project. The messaging behind this project is wonderful, really being positive!

I'm no full time eco warrior or anything but I get so fed up with litter on my lovely walks. If it's not dog poo locally or the bags they're in left, along this lovely stretch in Marsden, so many beer cans. Still had a lovely time but why can't people simply take their rubbish with them

One of the projects I'm working on at the moment is the Growing Stronger arts project with artist Julie Mitchell. This is part of what will become a wave. The whole project will come together and form a sculpture to be exhibited in July in the Museum of Liverpool. I do love my job!

Lovely walk round Lunt this afternoon. If you've not heard of it, it's a 5 minute drive from my home. A nature reserve, water voles, birds, eagles, geese. All kinds of nature here, and it also acts as a flood barrier. Beautiful in all seasons
