I thought if I could show people that Dark-types were as trainable as other Pokémon that I could change the stigma and give Dark-type Pokémon the chance they deserved. Dark-type Pokémon used to only be found after dark. Only after they’ve been accepted have they been sighted in the day.

They were living on the brink of existence for decades due to the stigma of their unique adaptions and the ignorance of humans. When I first met my Houndoom, Sasha, she nearly tore my arm off. I could see her pain and was myself on the fringes of society, so I swore to help all Dark-type Pokémon.

I’d like to understand how your life has become intertwined with Dark-types. Of course I feel the same way. Though, I had to earn my access to them over the years. You see, when I was young Dark-types were not a recognized Pokémon type. They were rejected, hunted, and pushed near extinction.
