Today was good; together with fellow First Nations/Metis and supporters. I walked for my grandmother and her sister who survived Youville residential school and for all of us impacted. For my mother who denied her heritage. Grandma went in speaking only cree at 6; left at 16 never speaking it again.

Special ballot done and mailed. I folded the ballots twice, per ballot instructions, then saw on instructions to fold in half. Called elections Alberta and they will count either method of fold. They also will ensure people haven’t voted twice (in person and via mail) due to some special code.
