another unused death in QFG1: When entering Fred the Troll's room, he sneaks up and attacks you. Apparently there's code to roll depending on the player's Luck, if it's successful, you battle Fred. If it fails, he instant kills you with his surprise attack. In the final game you always battle Fred.

It is scary. I think we have a tendency to quickly dehumanize others that disgust us, discarding them entirely. But humans are complex creatures. We can change, we can make mistakes, we can have lapses in judgment. The distance provided by social media makes it easy to not see others as people.

Doing something terrible will hurt us, too. We are often our own victims, and it is something that is difficult to heal from, even if we're trying our best to better ourselves. My friend came close to taking their own life. I worry about those that never get the chance to try and move forward.

They have changed over time and I'm confident in saying they're a great person and a great friend. But they are haunted by their mistakes, they have nightmares about it and panic attacks when the memories resurface. It made me realize that we, ourselves, are also victims of our own wrongdoings.

Recently, a friend of mine did something terrible. I was horrified, but they expressed deep remorse for it and asked me for help. They wanted to do better, be better, and not make the same mistakes again. Had it been anyone else I would have left, but because we were friends, I stuck with them.

It actually frightens me how quick and easy we are to permanently condemn others, considering how short our lifespans are. I'm also guilty of this, of course, I'm no saint or anything. But when I stop and reflect on it, it makes me sad.

I want to believe that the answer is yes. I do not yet know whether or not there is truly an afterlife, so I am reluctant to condemn people forever, even people that I find to be truly abhorrent. If this is the only life we get, then we deserve the chance to make the best of it, to make amends.

i had to go get my laptop repaired recently and it cost me £230. i'm fine but it was a real "ooou yeeouch!!" kind of cost that ate up like a quarter of my bank. basically this is not at all Urgent but it does feel like a good time to be like "oh yeah i have a ko-fi btw".

Fan art isnt gonna stop her from rallying against trans people or anything. Her hatred is towards real trans people. She is dangerous. If you want to support trans people and/or rebel against her, the best thing you can do is not interact with her works. Give them no money and no attention.

There seems to be a misguided idea that making gender bent art of a Harry Potter character is an act of rebellion against Rowling because she hates trans people. It is a fruitless endeavor, however. Rowling does not care. All it does is give her more works more attention.
