That is terrifying because people can barely afford basics, never mind a five-figure repair to keep their insurance. What region of the country are you in? I haven’t heard of anyone experiencing this in the northeast where I am but you know they’re coming for us.

I like a good basket weave stitch; they tend to hold their shape and non-knitters think it’s some complicated witchcraft you’ve created. I have a scarf I did in basket weave about 5 years back and it still looks great and doesn’t need blocking. Love your color combo on this.
