One other thing I'd be careful about: "hormone
regulation" isn't quite the right phrase. The
issue is less that the US doesn't regulate
hormones and more that it regulates chemicals
capable of interfering with endocrine
signalling, and the US regulatory/testing
framework has historically struggled with
mixtures, low-dose effects and developmental
exposure. The EPA itself acknowledges
significant gaps here.
