GrapheneOS @grapheneos.org · 29/08/2026
We have a partial port of GrapheneOS to the Pixel 11 series after a week of work on it. We're unable to complete the port due to lack of support for ARM hardware memory tagging in software, firmware and near certainly hardware. It appears Google cut an important security feature to save money.

We would have never been able to organise DWeb Camp in Germany if it wasn’t for @dod.ngo, our invaluable partners, taking care of so many critical aspects of the event. 👾 Get to know them and learn more in this interview to their members

It's not a true story. WIRED sourced an inaccurate history of GrapheneOS from a serial fabricator who has spent the past 8 years trying to destroy it and the life of the founder. Donaldson didn't play the role he claims in creating or supporting GrapheneOS. Copperhead was founded by 3 people, not 2.

Muskism as Fordism
Coined by a German economist in 1926, Fordism came to describe the dominant political-economic order of the mid-twentieth century. Could "Muskism" play a similar role in the twenty-first?

PSA: No Stammtisch today as @c-base.org is in maintenance mode in preparation for the 30 year celebrations. If you come on board there will be no relaxed conversations with drinks as usual - but you will be expected to work on maintaining the space station ;-) github.com/department-o...

Been reading up on some interesting topics, one of them being security through object capabilities. It's quite a mouthful, but it's a notion that online service are gravitating towards (slowly) and it might also be something of interest to EVM standards.
