Despite being American citizens, three children — a 4-year-old boy with Stage 4 kidney cancer, his 7-year-old sister and a 2-year-old girl — were detained with their families by immigration authorities in Louisiana and quickly sent to Honduras, according to a lawsuit.

The fact they are being forced to actually fight in court to remove LGBTQ members instead of fighting to protect them is arguably the worst about all this. The military has been set back like 20+ years in one fell swoop

Well starting from 2027 onwards, militaries around the world will have the option to order either HX2s or HX3s. This timeline matches up with what has been stated lately and also matches with when American Rheinmetall/GM Defense will begin HX3 CTT production if they win CTT which seems

3. RMMV is producing six total HX3 test units, two 6x6 and four 8x8 in different configurations 4. German Army is accepting a few of these units for validation trials and presumably also will receive serial production units, implying they have placed an order What does this mean?

Seems like F/A-XX nightmare continues under recent HASC FY26 NDAA markup. F/A-XX gets about $74M. The program is also getting $750M in the recently passed reconciliation bill. However, both of these combined are well below the spending plans under the Biden Admin, which called for $2.2B in FY26.

Today we are going learn about Light Exo-Atmospheric Projectile's first flight test. So what is LEAP? LEAP was a program aimed at developing extremely lightweight and small KKVs. The program first spawned from an SDI effort develop a light kill vehicle for ground or space based hyper-velocity guns.

Hegseth and co could never do what they are doing to the Army to the Air Force, Navy or Marines. These cuts are so nonsensical but the Army has brain dead leaders so they will not oppose these cuts. Turns out failed PLs should never be in any positions of power.

This doesn’t really say if they are integrating missiles on another system that doesn’t use their pods. It’s just an extension of the cooperation Rheinmetall and Lockheed have been forging since 2023 that yielded GMARS and Rheinmetall building components of the F-35 soon

Yes they can be fitted later but given experience in the Red Sea and the utility of having autocannons for use against USVs and UAVs for point defense, you would expect the ships to have them fitted by default instead a potential refit later.

Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 09/04/2025
For context, some Freedoms were fitted with a Mk46 30mm bushmaster next to the RAM launcher. You could make the argument they were avoiding gold plating but the Americas have Mk38s, the Fords have Mk38s, and the Mark VI patrol boats have Mk38s for crying out loud.

remote weapon stations. The former with a 25mm bushmaster and the latter with a 30mm bushmaster and a coaxial 50 cal. It just ticks me off the USN gave the ship aegis, SPY-6, CAPTAS-4, Mk41s with Tomahawks, SM-2, SM6/ or ESSM, and sixteen NSMs and they couldn't be bothered to give them Mk38s?

Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 09/04/2025
So I'm gonna be ranting about 1 aspect of the ships here and that's point defense. Each ship is armed with around 10 medium to heavy machine guns. This would be fine if it wasn't for the fact they were all on manned gun mounts. This is despite the fact the ships could easily fit 2-4 Mk38 Mod 3 or 4

Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 09/04/2025
Obviously the Type 26 was never submitted but the FREMM-IT was. Long story short, FREMM beat out the four other bidders and from there, FMM worked with Gibbs & Cox and the USN to design what became the FFG-62.
100
Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 09/04/2025
This resulted in the navy wanting a guided missile frigate geared for ASW warfare and if this sounds familiar, it should since this fact alongside the requirement for this to be an existing ship design meant there was really only 2 ships who could have pulled this off. The FREMM-IT and the T26

Let's do a brief history on the USNs newest frigates. So the Constellations began life as the FFG(X) program. Long story short, it was a program to specifically to provide a replacement to the OHP and to largely replace both LCS classes in USN service

Will either procure it? Idk it’s in the air. I personally believe Germany should buy the GMARS over the PULS due to the fact they can merely reuse the MARS II pods instead of investing in new pods for PULS since Lockheed doesn’t wanna integrate MFOM into PULS at all
100
Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 31/03/2025
The British are running into issues with getting more MLRS in general. HIMARS is an option but it only is able to carry a single pod. GMARS is probably the better choice due to its two podded setup and also common chassis with the British logistics fleet.
100
Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 31/03/2025
The GMARS since it was first announced 2 years ago has been suggested as an M270 supplement/replacement for 2 primary nations: the UK and Germans Germany is trying to replace its remaining fleet of MARS II MLRS (M270) and is replacing 5 they donated to Ukraine with 5 Euro-PULS
100
Kaiser @kaiserstormtrack.bsky.social · 31/03/2025
So Rheinmetall and Lockheed both held a recent conference to discuss one of my favorite MLRS systems in the world with representatives of 14 countries. This system is GMARS. It’s basically a wheeled M270 with a slightly more narrow launcher and on an RMMV HX2 8x8.
