That's terrible, you'd think with being such a successful author she wouldn't need to be running email scams

I mean diminishing marginal utility of money explains the general idea, but a) I would never expect it to be this extreme and b) if that were the only factor you'd expect the crossbreaks to all heavily show more preference for the 50k among poorer groups.

One thing that makes me irrationally angry is when an MP posts a photo that someone else has taken of the MP taking a selfie. Look how normal I am! I take selfies just like you! Then get a staffer to photo me taking the selfie and post it, just so you can know how much like you I am! Grrrr.

The thing about Arsenal is they always try to walk it in.

I'm coming to the conclusion that few people do know what it means, instead inferring its meaning from the people it's used to describe and from its similarity to the word 'popular'.

I do wonder what your life has to be like to get out of bed and think, "today I'm going to defend Damien Lewis's honour and musicianship by angrily abusing anyone who has a joke about it."

I went to something similar when I was in sixth form in the 90s and was caught sneaking out by Neil Kinnock.

Hopefully it is a comfort to realise that we men are here to assume that the reason you're eating plain rice is because you've forgotten it can have things added to it.

The more often you suggest this, the less it's going to seem like you're very concerned with national security, and more that you have a dead sailor you need shot of.

The beard suits you! Glad to hear Merinne's doing well. Wouldn't be doing my due diligence if I didn't tell you to get off social media and watch Twin Peaks the Return. Got degree, working remotely for company in London, looking at moving back to Norfolk next year - you still there?

If you poll young people they're selflessly in favour of the triple lock and WFP, but poll the retired about the young and the miserable bastards want to send them all on national service. We need to stop pandering to the ungrateful twats.

Language and communication is so powerful. Essential in being understood, understanding, learning, and exploring this beautiful world. It’s estimated that at least 2 million children in the UK are struggling to talk and understand words- likely not helped by lockdowns and social deprivation.

Honestly I don't know how you put up with it, even on regular polls, it's all people who are upset that the poll was taken at all, people with baseless claims of bias, and people noisily dealing with their own cognitive dissonance with the figures in public

Just have a quiet ceremony, followed by multiple receptions, unaware of each other, that you dash between with costume changes like a 70s sitcom.

Pretty tired of hearing the word 'scrimp' applied to £20k private school fees by people who haven't done a day's scrimping in their lives too.

What does 2025 have in store for left-wing populists? Will they be able to take advantage of the current mood of discontent and make some progress, and if so in which party, or new party?
