Things are starting to move a bit more quickly now. The house where I currently live has had all its work done so that it can be listed (which it already has been). We've had a few people through to look at it, and have potentially got a couple of interested buyers.

Yesterday I found out that the bus drivers, when I head to work, cannot stop just outside the gate of where I work due to the no stopping sign. That's fine, I completely understand. However the other bus stops are a few hundred meters either side of where I work.

That feeling you get when you feel like you're doing pretty well at your job. Then you get a severe wake up call from your manager's manager ... it's like a sledgehammer to the stomach .. it's actually ... not good. Shatters the confidence and makes you feel like you're walking on broken glass.

Had a rather "interesting" conversation yesterday with someone reportedly a VRChat avatar "creator" *whispers: in other words a scammer* They suggested that I throw away or "not use" my avatars that I use, that I have paid damn good money to get done for me, and instead use their services Fuck no!

Just realised what the date is for this Friday - and for my American friends it's not a pleasant one in the slightest. It's 25 years since THAT incident which saw the Twin Towers erased from the New York skyline forever, my tribute will be two minutes silence at 9am when I'm at work.

One day into my new shift at work and this seems pretty good - working 7:45am to 3:15pm. Catch the bus from a nearby bus stop an hour later and I'm home by 4:45pm. Grab some early dinner and then head off to sleep 8:30 pm wake up at 5am and repeat. Love it :)

Tried a dish that I found off TikTok Take 1 pack of spaghetti, a small tin of diced tomatoes, mushrooms, tomato pasta sauce, Parmesan & mozzarella cheese. Pre cook the spaghetti, drain it and put it in a baking dish. In goes the pasta sauce, then the mushrooms and diced tomatoes.

Got some pretty good news today when I attended my appointment to get the stitches removed. For context I had a small cancerous lump removed from the side of my head near my right eye. Then I had to go back and get the last bit cut out, and from the news today: it's all gone!

Here's what my arm looks like now - given the fact that it looked a LOT worse only a couple of months ago. That red splotch near the gauze is the remnants of a nasty blister that formed when I had my accident. And those red marks up my arm on the side there, that's where the external fixation was.
