Wildest thing is I’ve seen this attitude comes from artists at times too but hot take: I think that usually happens when they’re just envious that others CAN make it as an artist or it just comes from being part of the system.

1130

I hate that people I once loved had this attitude but I still see it around and I find it really disparaging to artists, doesn’t matter if poor or rich from or a choice or not. We make art and pay bills with it, it’s a real job with real work and to this day the best I’ve ever had.

1100

And I imagine that’s the same for many furry artists to, of course some are pushed into it via dire circumstance but not everyone. Then on top of that there’s a feeling that if you haven’t worked in a studio you’re also not really an artist.

One thing that I’ve noticed is people seem to think you only become a full time furry artist when you loose your job/can’t get one. There’s this attitude around it that it’s not real work. I choose this job, I left my old job when they still wanted me.

It’s hard but we will both be a version of ourselves we love more than we ever did on the other side of it 💜

Kaideart @kaideart.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

There’s so much more healing I need to do, my heart is still beyond broken 💔 But finding the love for myself and those friends who care deeply is what’s bandaging the wound. I will love someone else again someday, but for the first time I’m going to love myself too.

One of the best things I’ve been learning is that I can just love my friends, I can just love myself and make the choices I need to make to move on in life and that I can be respected by those I care about and those I love and I don’t have to keep it secret anymore. It means a lot to me.

I’m glad I’ve a friend in @hozzerino.bsky.social who yesterday stuck with me while I threw out a lot of old objects that had bad memories attached to them. I’m glad I can feel and give so much love to my close friends <3

Like, you say the stripe information is required despite it previously working fine for months and then when I try to check it and resubmit it I get an error back.

070

@jinxxy.com Hey can you get back to me about the stripe payment error that you've got. I'm owed over $300 and I'm actually quite annoyed you've not even sent a response to my support email to say "Hey we're looking into this" What is going on with it?

Oh for SURE like I know I’ve just become very locked off in terms of dating but then hugely open sexually. I’m just shocked at myself for feeling so negative even when dating games are presented as a like, safe space for it with no consequence and I’m like… this is unsafe do not want!!!

110

*Me playing a game about dating* Why does this person wanna date they just broke up 5 days ago? This person knows they’re mad why are they looking for someone? Being nice isn’t the only trait to look for? Maybe I need more therapy or something. I’m so adverse to even fictional dating…

So far I've been using L'Oréal Men Expert Hydra and it's been so good for my face, I no longer feel CRUSTY I should try some stuff for more than my face though, at least my arms haha

So no joke, after last years discovery of finding bars of soap clean me so much better than shower gel, this years has been “wait my skin can be soft?” After using moisturiser. I’m going from genuinely feeling like an unappealing guy to someone actually nice to be around and I feel good about that!

It’s not like the usual few days after they payout deal, this is kinda more serious especially since some creators RELY on these payments

020

That’s actually semi relieving to hear, im also not American so if they just dump it all in my PayPal id be more than happy with that honestly. I’m going to assume like, it’s just an error somewhere but still frustrating in the meantime

Yeah I imagine it’ll work for future payments but there’s a few hundred I’m missing and like, I’d kinda like it haha

Kaideart @kaideart.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

I really hope Jinxxy gets back to my support email soon, I’m missing 4 weeks of payments from them they’ve sent out but it hasn’t came into my bank despite not having issues before. I’ve switched it over to PayPal for now but I kinda would like the money I’ve earned.
