I feel similarly, some considerations were nice like keeping loading screens even though they're not needed anymore. Combat seems intact too. What bothers me most is the inconsistent art style. Link especially looks out of place and tacky. With a slight adjustment I think it would look nice.

Opposite for me, I haven't seen anyone who liked it yet, I guess this will be one of those 50/50 splits. Personally I think it would have looked fine if they knew when to stop adding detail, a constant issue for AAA these days.

The start screen in Tower Climb made me think a larger hub world that connects to different levels would be cool. The platforming is solid so more levels and mechanics would make for a good game imo. You could really do anything though. Nosey RPG... Nosey FPS... Nosey gacha game...
