Just saying that if you wanted to reintroduce the Control Devil into the story, now would be a great time to do it. Nayuta's "world ruled by devils" idea is coming true, and the Control Devil's ability to take control of small animals seems relevant. It even fits with the Conquest/Pestilence thing.

Its not surprising at all, but people thinking that Asa consented to the events of this chapter is staggeringly ridiculous. Asa has never expressed a desire to have sex with Denji, But even if she did want to, she almost certainly would not be capable of saying that to him yet,

The fact that people were saying that "Fujimoto forgot Locust" or confidently declaring that the Locust Devil served no purpose, only two chapters after its last appearance is just... It's not the worst moment that the CSM fandom has had, but I do think it might have been the dumbest.

I think my understanding of where Fujimoto is going with Part 2 greatly improved when I stopped viewing Denji's Part 2 arc from the lense of his arc in Part 1, and started viewing it as being like Jimmy's arc in Better Call Saul. The structure feels very similar.

People have been pointing this out, but I love the contrast on Denji and Yorus perception of Asa is shown. Yoru thinks Asa has nothing to be guilty of, and her sins are nothing to a devil, while Denji sees her as a sinner peer. Asa feels guilt existing, but one builds up, while the other drags down

Fujimoto has never been shy when it comes to references, but one of my favourite things about Barem is just how blatantly Fujimoto took the villains from two of his favourite movies and mashed them together. (Lee Woo-Jin and Mr Blonde)

One of the biggest reasons that I think the dove Denji vomited up is Death is this scene here where Yoru bisects a guy. Fujimoto always likes to follow up a concept being erased/returned with an immediate effect. This bystander sets up a visual way for Fujimoto to show death existing again.

Chainsaw Man prediction: that bug guy was the Pain Devil. The locusts released in Revelations were not allowed to kill, only to inflict unimaginable torture. In a world without pain or death, Yoru will be unable to show dominance, and thus wont "win" even when an opponent is incapacitated

I’m on the fence about whether Yoru purposely brought Asa out or if Asa got frightened enough to push her out But, more importantly, if Asa is experiencing everything Yoru’s experiencing first person this raises serious questions about the whole “slice Yoru up until she surrenders” thing

Denji has Yoru's allies strapped to him when he begins eating the pawns. Then a pawn Denji eats is lampshaded as "not important to this world". When Yoru intercepts Denji, her allies are gone. But we saw every devil Denji ate, he didnt eat her allies. Then Denji goes to hell and the devils are gone.

Aging devil has been eaten before. Death eats devils when they are turned into pawns. Denji is currently eating Death's pawns. The story has already questioned what will happen when Aging is eaten, set up a contract that occurs when Aging is eaten, and set up how the Aging Devil *tastes*

Other than some of Yoru's allies, the one devil I really think that Denji will eat is Aging Devil. Nothing about the contract actually prevents Denji from eating Aging, it just stops Aging from forcing it. And the question of what erasing Aging would do has already been raised by the story.

Is it weird that this page is the biggest reason why I think Nayuta will come back into the story? Because Fujimoto loves to set a promise, then develop it in a more fucked up way that still satisfies the promise (the plan to break Denji's contract, "worst possible way... for the chainsaw boy").
