I have the VIOFO Dash Cam A119 Mini 2 and I love it. But I would recommend checking out the VIOFO line of dash cams. I also hear some good things about Wolfbox, but I have not personally tested them.

Very rare. Normally it is very rough for most mountain roads with lots of potholes to avoid. One of the reasons I grab for my gravel bike when someone says “mountain road”. This road was just magical.

Can you believe it's already the season of Blocktober?

We will see how it plays out. Things have gotten even weirder past this last posting because based on my ongoing chat with what seems like the owner, they are getting incorrect information internally from the staff. I might actually be helping them implement protocol changes in their business.

So this gets even whackier. I got a message back from the person that oversees Lucky Tiki. The GM at that location is insisting that I was able to get into the bar. They want me to bias my review based on an experience I did not get. This is the weirdest customer service I have ever experienced.

No shame in taking breaks. It is actually healthier to take a break (even 5min) hydrate and let your heart rate drop a bit as well as let your core temperature drop too. Coming close to heat stroke is a very dangerous thing when riding solo. I can attest to it.

It is really discouraging that drivers have to ruin things. I was doing a speed run on my bike today in the incredibly wide bike lane and just broke 35mph when a driver illegally came into the lane forcing me to change modes. I’m kinda pissed. (the DJI Action 5 Pro has a very wide lens)

Yes, yes they could have. I even consented to the guard asking him to search my bag as proof that I was not even remotely a threat. It was literally two stuffed animals, a cliff bar, some hand wipes, and a bottle of water. There was no one in line and it would have taken less than 10 seconds.

It really works. I have used reviews quite a bit to let businesses know of their shortcomings and about half or so reached out to me and asked for my thoughts. Most have implemented some form of my recommendations too, so it really rebuilds my confidence in them to do right.

I am not sure. But I spoke out about it. The owner of the tiki bar actually contacted me to get more information. The security is for both Highland Park Bowl and the bar (the bar is a speakeasy). We will see what he says. My guess is security may get a revamp.

I just got rejected from going into Lucky Tiki in Highland Park, Ca because I had a backpack that had cute stuffed animals in it. “Sorry I have had too many issues with backpacks” was their excuse. That is entirely too offensive! Do not patronize this place! I am kind of pissed. 😡
