render ➡️ final

sloppy 3D render of a kid playing a video game in front of a big old TV. the scene is split into slices where the furniture turns into video game environment set pieces of various themes, and there's tons of little guys and items all over the place.

final drawing/painting over the render which adds a ton of details. maybe too many!

Wanted to redo the art for the "student" profession, since I did not like the last one.

Attitude adjustment via cat slap.

Even if you could possibly make a complete movie with AI that does not look like inconsistent slop. It will still be made by people with zero passion and maximum laziness. Sure the "tool" is there but the artist behind it will always be a hack. These movies will always suck because of this.

I am going to do a few panels before I make the next painting but I think I am going to make a silly gorilla friend for the next artwork. its going to be the art for the "journalist class" so the apes going to be in a fancy journalist get up.

If you are the type of person that after watching the recent tragedy, really thinks that this has nothing to do with climate change, you are a fucking monster, I don't know what else needs to be said.

Fuck, just read the news that a large part of a Nepal river province suffered a massive flood that killed 100's. that should be bad enough, but then to hear that it was do to a melting glacier that was caused by "warming temperatures" FUCK.

I have probably asked this before, but do yall think my artwork would work for an art book? One with little bits of lore and stuff.

I don't know, I like to think that good people are more abundant, than cruel people. Its just that the cruel people are loud about their cruelty. sometimes, when I feel more positive.

I try to be Zen, but its really difficult. Where do you draw the line at being unbothered or otherwise, being complacent? I guess it's when your emotional moments only effect you negatively and not others in a positive way.

Don't know if i just did not capture whatever really pulls people with my last image, but boy, does it feel bad to have such low attention on my recent piece compared to previous ones. what did I do wrong? did I scare away people with my comic, does the image just suck? I feel maybe its not my best.

Man, I can never really tell you what my fav color is, I always say "earth tone" but that does not really describe it, recently I think I was able to describe my fav color combo better. That would be potpourri. earthy, but more focus on the reddish browns and a little bit of white.

God the lack of empathy is just maddening. and they seem to live by this idea that no one deserves anything, everything has to be worked for and your life has to suck to be a man. everyone for themselves, and nothing that's not me is my problem.

Absurd @absurd-eternal.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Bro, like why do I even give "that side" the benefit of the doubt? "oh lets see what they think of the crew of the USS lincon and how they suffer, they like the troops no? "Dur, warrior mind set, these salors gota stop bitching and get over it, hur dur, its not that bad!" Evil just fucking evil.

Its hard to work on avoiding giving everything the benefit of the doubt, while at the same time, not giving yourself enough credit.

Don't fall into a "practice hole" practice is important but without learning the fundamentals of form, color, perspective, and what makes something look "nice", you will not get very far. it sounds boring but studying and reading up on the fundamentals is a must! 20% perspiration and 80% education.
