Now that the temps have finally cooled off, the Boxster has basically been my daily driver for the last couple of weeks haha mandatory top-down open air driving 😎

Kleo basks in warm sunset sunlight. She's incredibly cute as always #cats #photography

Good morning! The dogs and I will be heading out that way in a couple of weeks actually for my brother's birthday haha GTI continues to be good - I just noticed while parking at work this morning the mileage is 161616. Fun number

It's not enough to be against AI, you need to be pro art. You need to be a champion of the art you love, you need to share that passion and joy, and do what you can to support the artists who make it, because it's not enough to hate AI, to hate what it's doing to art and media; you gotta love.

Ooh the late model C4 Corvette is one of my dream cars - purple with the rotary wheels lol. Neat to hear those things are excellent mile eaters! And, yeah, while the Boxster is great, the GTI is just an excellent do-everything car

KMacKenzie @k5mackenzie.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

Honestly, I thought it did just fine! Set the cruise control to 77mph for pretty much the entire way. Suspension isn't too crashy but it is an old car with zero electronic assisted anything so uneven surfaces like construction will yank the steering wheel. I'd definitely take it on more trips!

Back in April, I took the Boxster out on what was probably its first ever road trip. 1500 mile round trip to Massena, NY to visit the grandparents. It did surprisingly well. I was able to do 30mpg ~500 miles on a single tank of gas. #Porsche #BoxsterS #Car
