K @k2052.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I said it before and I'll say it again. The simplest solution to the AI debates is to just make companies pay for all the material they use to train. If the tech is worth trillions they can pay us all. If they cant they shouldn't exist But even anti-ai people are too capitalism pilled 130

K @k2052.bsky.social · 09/09/2026SOTA models clearly got better in past 6 months at code by RLing on data from chats and harnesses so it wouldn't shock me at all if some of the recent advancements in other fields have been accomplished the same way Just copying + pasting all the researchers results back 2 them six months later 010
K @k2052.bsky.social · 27/08/2026if history is any indication millennials and gen z will fix all the problems and then we get to watch the new generations become selfish fuckers and slowly roll back all the hard fought social reforms we suffered to make happen 010

K @k2052.bsky.social · 21/08/2026I was a very early adopter of AI coding tools and I still think the old methods are better. Write code yourself use AI to generate bits as you go along as a productivity multiplier Aider figured this out years ago and it still holds up and results in better quality code than the agentic slop 010
K @k2052.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Been doing a lot more agentic coding lately because free tokens from e.g google and gotta say even though it finally "works" I fucking hate it This way of coding is god fucking awful. It doesn't feel like an amplifier at all either, it just pushes the productivity crunch to different phase. 120

K @k2052.bsky.social · 24/07/2026future sci-fi tech is only as good as the economic/social technology that manages it. K @k2052.bsky.social · 24/07/2026Feeling crazy with all the devs acting like models have improved massively in recent mnths. K @k2052.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Will never cease to be both funny and horrifying how the oligarchs figured out how to grift the educated class by just spewing concepts they steal from sci-fi books CEOs said a few phrases about computers, space, and AI and all the tech guys were like "hell yeah let's build the torment nexus!" 120
K @k2052.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Yesterday: AI must be built and given to the people so we can acellerate humanity damn the consequences Today: ban open source models!! K @k2052.bsky.social · 19/07/2026When u work this way the models don't feel much better than they were when Gemini 3.1 dropped Oh u burned millions of tokens and the agent coded it without bugs because u couldn't bother 2 write 1000 words? K @k2052.bsky.social · 19/07/2026I still don't understand devs using agents Not sure if they delude themselves that they are more productive or if there are just a ton of devs that cant write or system design.
