Hi everyone. I absolutely HATE to come on here asking for help, but here I am. I’ve created a GoFundMe to help cover surgery costs that I unexpectedly have to pay on Tuesday. I would appreciate any help/engagement, but I understand intimately that times are hard. 🖤 gofund.me/e3180a9a3

nah working out of UE5 and the VHS effect is just for this trailer. i tried to vhs grain effects with post processing, but personally found it to be a little too noisy so i jumped ship have you checked out the unity marketplace? i seem to recall some really nice camera fx packs

very fair, i made this post mostly in reflection that some of those greedy executives might in fact be tech bros 😅

working hard so one day i can have just enough financial secuirty to sit down and play through every Final Fantasy without a single Slack notification

i think the problem is that tech bros took over game dev

I'm pretty sure I only ever had Cobi - tbh i fixated way hard on the first game. I really should try Tara. What are the big differences?

I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH OMG i am actively trying to breed through the boss tree in the original. ive never fully finished it but ive probably beat the game 10+ times since childhood lmao

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

lmao this is so real it hurts. i can only talk about COD for so long

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

oh this was also me but with the stairs. i spent at least 1 hr aimlessly walking around my room. at a whopping 6 or 7 years old, this is where i learned patience

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

sometimes i think about the fact that in Pokemon Red i couldnt figure out how to get past the old man in Viridian City so i just trained in the grass before Victory Road until a neighbor helped me and i proceed to wax Brock's ass with a level 37 Charizard that barely listened to me

why is Soma so hot like holy fk????

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

it always fks with me mentally when a game says “you won’t be able to return after this point.”

1200

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

fk you cooked me with that one

030

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

weird Vaporeon doesnt technically learn sand attack

020

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

nah thats a great point. ps1's "weird" with shit like Toomba is unrivaled. i give ps2 slight edge for polish and library size. but ps1 is a top 3 or 4 console for sure i think id maybe throw in GBA, Switch, and SNES to make a top 5 list 🤔

so many good IPs that id love to see handed off to top tier indie studios can you imagine what a well oiled indie team could do with an IP like Dark Cloud?

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

like im STILL discovering dope titles on this shit??

000

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

real shit. would be cool to see what a modern day shift of what this looks like. defund the AAA studios that are failing consumers and distribute that to the growth of the hit indie studios. doubt it would ever happen and it probably isnt even feasible - but its a dope fantasy

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

appreciate the grammatically tight sentence Kenzie

congrats on winning the award for most subjective post of 2025

ps2 is objectively the best console

the secret to not getting left on read is to bully out in the open

120

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

i... really need to play literally anything in this series 😅

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

BRUH THAT IS MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME PLS I NEED YOU TO LOCK IN AND GET IT TOGETHER

020

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

LMAO RDR2 is a different issue for me. Ive tried to get through that snowy tutorial like 4 times and it crashed each time and eventually i just gave up and decided i wasnt meant to play that game

120

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

booting up a game after 6 months away: – no idea where I am – forgot the controls – wander for 15 minutes - shelf it for another 6 months

Dick Heyne @juveyd.bsky.social · 03/09/2025

the fact that you could dress your characters up SO many ways and they applied to all cinematics is another reason why this game is s tier
