Just discovered Tape Notes, an interview podcast with so many musicians that I'm a fan of! Really enjoy listening to how they talk about their process of composing, refining sounds, and just all the thoughts that go into making a piece. Incredible stuff! open.spotify.com/episode/1kHF...

Is anyone watching Lazarus? I'm a huge fan of Bonobo, Floating Points, and Kamasi Washington so it's like an incredible treat to me music-wise!

What an insane morning! I got laid off, but also for the first time had breakfast without anxiety, and will now go to the gym. I can feel an adventure coming up and it’s scary, but I’ll be okay!

Totally agree! I'm really skeptical of AI copilots that pop up in any kind of text editor (Notion, Google Docs). I mainly write in the Substack editor, and I thought the other day that it has to be intentional that they chose not to have any AI tools...yet.

I really love the manga Blue Period! Wanted to channel some of the creative fears that I often feel into a practice. I love love love how this manga depicts a lot of feelings I had going through art school!

Hello! I'm June, a product designer. I make a lot of art: urban sketching, dancing, making UI from the random thoughts and emotions that come up daily, and writing. Just to name a few! I rarely put up stuff I made on the internet, but now I'd like to start doing that more often!

Voice note, inspired a quote from The Faraway Nearby by @rebeccasolnit.bsky.social "From far away you see the pattern, the connections, and the thing as whole [...] Up close it all dissolves into texture and incoherence and immersion, like a face going out of focus just before a kiss."

an exploration of a "venting" app / voice note. very inspired by the podcast brendawareness where Brenda described her own podcast as a series of "voice notes" that someone sends to you. i'm really warming up to them these days, but will never personally send one lol
