Thank you. I figured I have my original one so I’d try one of the portable ones. Someone suggested a miniware ts80p and after looking at price vs arrival time vs reviews it seemed worth the gamble. It has a much smaller tip and I’ve done a decent amount with it so far and like it.

I don't have anything fancy at all. I have an old apple tv that almost never gets used. A couple of smart tv's (unfortunately), and a handful or two of RGB light bulbs. I also have a robot vacuum (I always forget about that).

implementing the VLANs I set up so long ago. I can also use my proxmox cluster to start setting up an internal lab once I have the VLANs in place and all my IoT shit will be isolated then. Feels pretty good. Back to soldering or reading soon. /end

It's only 8:44am here and already a productive day. I have removed everything from my rack and it will be disassembled shortly. I loved saying I had my own server rack but without a full size server now it is just taking up too much room. I am now completely off unmanaged switches and can start /1

Feel a bit like a poser. I bought one of the surplus defcon badges so I could play around with it despite never having been to defcon. 🤷🏻‍♂️ In other news my defcon fund is coming along. I hope to have enough to cover the badge by the end of the year and then start working on plane ticket and hotel!

From what I have seen, the holes are going to vary from board to board depending on how they were made and could be anything from io pins to grounds to something else. I have also learned there are different protocols uart, i2c, and spi though that is the extent of what I know right now.

2.5 books down in the last 7-10ish days. I haven't read this much in a while. Before people ask they are just fiction books, nothing with learning (which they probably should be). I finished ACOTAR finally and then I got the entire Dungeon Crawler Carl set on sale and finished the 1st two.

Since I have most of the apps I want to use on my phone I just threw it on my account, which includes procreate (bought it for my personal iPad Air lol).
