Feel a bit like a poser. I bought one of the surplus defcon badges so I could play around with it despite never having been to defcon. 🤷🏻‍♂️ In other news my defcon fund is coming along. I hope to have enough to cover the badge by the end of the year and then start working on plane ticket and hotel!

2.5 books down in the last 7-10ish days. I haven't read this much in a while. Before people ask they are just fiction books, nothing with learning (which they probably should be). I finished ACOTAR finally and then I got the entire Dungeon Crawler Carl set on sale and finished the 1st two.

At least for the time being I have somehow talked my way into and M5 iPad Pro with pencil and Magic Keyboard as a companion device at work. That’s kind of nice. Much easier than packing up my laptop every time I have to go on site.

I've soldered before a little - I did the conversion on the wifi pineapple to add the leds for the custom case and I've soldered some a pi zero w to turn it into a pwnagotchi but that's it /1

One of my tasks has been cleaning up a server rack recently. This is how it was when I first saw, after my first quick trip, and after today and a few more hours. It's not done yet but it's so close. One guy worked on the top a little before it got passed to me.
