I was born and raised Jewish. I'm not very observant, I consider myself Jewish. I don't support the genocide of Palestinians being perpetrated by Netenyahu. I believe Jewish people, a small segment of the global population, deserve a homeland, but not at the expense of any other group of people.

Know what I dislike? Buying something that has to be put together, and finding the instructions have NO WORDS but just pictures with arrows and such. I'm literate - reading both fiction and non fiction is one of my favorite pastimes. Manufacturers, please include written directions for assembly.

Today, the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere, also happens to be the 75th anniversary of my parent's marriage. They're both gone now, but I find peace in knowing that they're back together in the great beyond.

Another problem with the ultra wealthy is that they buy things and break them. The current president has a trail of failed businesses behind him. The billiard ball Bezos has gutted and continues to gut the staff of the Washington Post. It should be illegal for any person to have that much money.

After reading works by Anne Applebaum and M.Gessen, it's clear that money is the root of all evil. The very rich don't believe that laws apply to them, and have teams of lawyers to dig them out of any problems. They have no idea how the working class struggles to survive. Repeal Citizens United.
