Knights of Guinevere episode 2 is out at last! Hope you're all enjoying 'Wolves Around The Corner'. I'll post some of my environments soon; in the meantime, I couldn't resist drawing the princess to celebrate. 🔵💙🔵

Black and white drawing- Princess Guinevere walks in the woods away from a tower. She looks a little lost! On either side of her path, wolves watch her progress with interest.

It is something only 2 human minds can accomplish together, even without having direct access to each other’s skills. We can create in a way others understand. We can design in a way that makes others feel emotions. AI does not understand this & never will. It can only guess, but never empathize.

There’re so many reasons why this year was supposed to be one of sadness, and anger, and desperation and hopelessness for me. But instead I have been reminded a dozen times over that my efforts have left an impact, and welcomed into communities I WANT to be a part of actively. Thank you all, truly.

Sitting in the studio unexpectedly crying now, because out of nowhere the project director for Re:Zero stops by to grab their lunch, but takes a moment specifically to tell me that each time they quality-review the mix for an episode they go “thank GOD Sean is Subaru”. I’m so ridiculously grateful.

I love this career so f***ing much. When I competed in AX Idol 17 years ago it just wasn’t the fact that I was performing an anime scene that mattered to me, but that I - a relative nobody to the crowd at the time - was able to give a delivery that enervated them, ENTERTAINED them. I never forgot.

This will not affect Far-Fetched in any way shape or form. I will just have to be less hands on in the animation department.

Was an absolute treat to finally meet @sonicmega.bsky.social this weekend after enjoying so many of his roles! (And an honor to give a funny little reminder of Pat and Rey Megamanstarforce to a fellow meggy man enjoyer, we all miss them!!)

16 years ago, while still in college - excited as hell to find an email for an actor whose role I’d imitated for years - I sent a COURTEOUS but impulsive message expressing how much I enjoyed their performance. The actor - Stuart Zagnit - wrote an amazingly kind response. Today; we got to meet. :)

Sometimes tho, I take the chance to try & tell a short story…for example, the StarMan.EXE theme from Mega Man Network Transmission - where a “space-theme” track becomes an experience of leaving home & joining the stars: Lyrics: www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rdjj4... Theme: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bylo...

I love getting Kinger-jumpscared whenever @sonicmega.bsky.social shows up as a character voice in something. my mind's eye just automatically inserts Kinger in as the character in question Anyway here's Kinger Mista I drew plus... Kinger Pistols? Sex Kingers?? #jojo #TADC #fanart

A digital sketch of Kinger (from The Amazing Digital Circus) dressed up as Mista (from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure part 5). Both characters share an English voice actor - Sean Chiplock. He is aiming a pistol upward with angy eyebrows, just like a frame from TADC. Flying around him are his stand, the six Sex Pistols, which are all tiny yellow Kingers riding on bullets. The foremost Sex Pistol, number 7, is riding the bullet like a bull while flashing the horns hand gesture, just like a different frame from TADC. The background is a simple blue sky with fluffy clouds

I’ve wanted to play The Choicer Voicer for a while now, so I’m so hyped to try it tomorrow with friends!! The question is, will I actually try to do a good job, or will I dub things over in very, very silly ways? Both. Definitely both. See you tomorrow at 8 EST on Laddi’s stream!!

Obviously I won’t be perfect in my effort; I’ve already been thoroughly embarrassed about learning where things I was excited to contribute to ended up using AI in the end. But I try to remind folks that there are countless creatives out there who strive for the human element. AI is NOT the future.

I stop eating at businesses that use AI in the art/signs. I downvote games that disclose using genAI in their creative processes. I have responded point-blank to clients asking for me to voice in something - who admit upfront to AI placeholders - I won’t even touch it until it’s completely AI-free

3 people had panic attacks. The woman next to us started praying profusely. I sheepishly looked at my friend, promised this isn’t what it’s always like, and then paused my 18 minute video on Is Delfino Island a Good Place to Vacation & held onto the seat in front of me for dear life as we hurtled.
