Elderly relative on FB last night posting Reform anti-immigrant meme. Elderly relative is first generation East Europe migrant to UK, who moved to Spain in 2014 and hasn't been back to UK, lives in a Brit immigrant enclave in Almeria, and doesn't speak Spanish. These people are fucking stupid.

Dealing with antisocial behaviour is different in Spain Vs UK. There's an AirBnB 300mts away that caters for Bday/Stag/Hen parties. Loud music has been going on since 3am. Now 7pm. All the junction boxes are outside the premises, so I pulled the fuses. No more noise except the "Ohhhs!".

Here's the thing: the other platforms (including IG and FB) are specifically designed to force me, a creative worker, to work for them for free. On Bluesky, I at least am not discouraged from sharing the work that I get paid for. Links and embeds are not destroyed by Bluesky's algorithm.
