Hey, @jasononthedrums.bsky.social Just want to say, I’m thankful for your voice.

Always have been a little bit of a hot head. Also, wood splits way easier at -28. Cardio, plus it reminds me that if I would have been born 1000 years ago I would have made an excellent Dutch Beserker, fending off evil invaders with a sword in my hand. #Canadian

You want to know what is fucking wild? You, and me, we can make this *waves hand at world, better. That’s the power you have. That I have. We, can make the world better, if even in some little way, tomorrow. All of us. All together. Image what that could do. #makeItBetter

Hey, is there a decent branding company that could help a country out? I mean so far all we have is that I am Joe commercial and a few Stompin’ Tom Connors songs. We could really use a @vancityreynolds.bsky.social make over. My Name is Justin, I am Canadian, and I approve this expenditure!

Listening to this wonderful book while I make drum frames for an event with kids and elders this Friday. Reconciliation takes on many forms.

In my history of making things in the garage on Christmas Eve I think tonight I spoke the coolest line ever to my son: “Ready? Should I light the forge?” I mean, how cool is that‽ And we’ve had some success too, details to follow after people open their presents!! #Christmas #Christmas2024

If we are ever to get to a place where all humanity truly thrives, it will be born on the heels of compassionate nurturance, of all the children of the world, for several generations.

Some might know where this comes from remember: Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. My own take on the next phrase: Resting between these two realities, is a never ending peace of all creation, found only in the present moment. To remind me, I always carry with me a silver coin

I’ve said it a million times, I’ll keep saying it, why this matters: THE HUMAN BRAIN CAN ONLY OPERATE ON THE INFORMATION IT HAS RECEIVED. SHIT in = SHIT out It’s an ethical challenge, civil society must wrestle with: Freedom to consume SHIT information v.s. Freedom to consume QUALITY information.

Funny how countries, politicians big on #climate change never argue to end the war machine. Me driving my truck to work, to help people, is worse for the environment than blowing the ever-living-fuck out of other countries? The #MilitaryIndustrialComplex is the most planetary destructive force.

This mornings facing the Sun thought…. I’m opening myself again to Love. To love others without future or past, to be open to exploring what love is in all its fullness and depth in the present moment, with whomever is with me.

Libertarianism sounds really cool… Freedom. No government regulation. No rules. No taxes ...right up until your new overlord walks into your house grabs your son and throws him in a tank, grabs your daughter and stuffs her in a factory. What can be torn down in a day, takes generations to rebuild.

The effort to undermine the Maori treaty is led by David Seymour, who has ties to the Atlas Network and who used to work at a Canadian think tank that has called the discovery of graves of Indigenous children at a residential school a "hoax." I wrote about it: drilled.media/news/trfst-f...

Having a good day is possible, if you decide it is. It’s internal. You are more than capable of offering a helping hand, encouraging others, doing small things in the middle of chaos. That’s how we change the world, one small act at a time, no matter what is going on. #Mindset #ConsciousAwareness

Many starting to see this clearly. You can’t win. Leave is the only option. I’m also interested by the whole bot thing, is Bluesky protected against that? Bots = non equal footing. Someone pays to have more influence than non-payers, that automatically makes the feed manipulated. Bot thoughts?

The reason why history repeats itself is because of human psychological development combined with lack of ego awareness. We believe we are 100% unique having a completely unique experience, instead we are moving through complex staged patterns. #psychology #consciousness

Check out our new office in Red Deer, we are in Capstone. We renovated this summer, and partially moved in our staff, we officially bought the building on December 1st. First thing I did? I put up Christmas lights and a GRINCHY TREE. LOTS MORE Christmas lights. I’m not quite done yet…
