Gonna watch a buncha 90s nu-metal horror instead, maybe yell about the production of Strangeland again.

Ep 1's big action scene was so satisfying. And those accents - they're kinda close!

Fair ball. Asides from my aforementioned affections, it's also my couch watch w my wife since she's usually too tired to watch my Oct List films, so it's low-stakes fun overall.

Literally just posted in praise of ep 1 then saw this but if that means I still get 4-ish decent eps and Netflix being Netflix at the end well that's still an ok deal considering I get to hang with Newfir Josh Harnett and don't need to think about Carrie.

Turned left and watched fiest ep of BELOW, which is doing lots right including decent Newfie accents, family dynamics, Josh effin Harnett, fine monster tension, science-y stuff, and one homage to trash 90s horror that had me howling. 6 eps total.

The mammals were always obvious to me but my favs were like the crab, snake, shark - those designs went HARD and usually had the "one hand is for holding weapons, the other IS a weapon" thing. Also why I loved the BAT soldiers from GI Joe.

Canadian authors, we are looking for a horror novella for 2027. If you have a complete ms in the ~18-40k range that is deliciously creepy, with carefully crafted prose and a strong eco focus, we'd love to read it. See our sub guidelines and submit to submissionsStelliform Press Please share!

Oh agreed - when Grandma opened her arms for a hug is another great abusive moment, script absolutely understood how to make the demon transference as disturbing/icky as possible. I really need to see Vanicek's Infested.

Among today's kinda crap movie news there is another sequel coming called The Last Temptation of Becky and also seems to be about killing even more Nazis.

True, slow start and really convoluted set-up BUT Carrie Fisher as house mom, the bottle death, the fire at the end, ridiculous villain weapon...kinda fun and I've seen it a lot for some reasons.

I liked quite a bit of it. Some negatives but I'm mostly in favour of more grisly demon movies.

A unified plot of horror where Carrie's 3rd season posits her as the inversion of a weyland-yutani powered Pennywise from Welcome to Derry as they battle under a simulacra of the Dark Tower stored in the memory banks of the Event Horizon while Jason X and the Leprechaun steadily advance and

I'm willing to Gove it chance- Flanagan is about 60% for me, more on the film side - but this sounds like he turned her into Eleven. Also seems everyone forgot how bad Midnight Club was.
