It's important to recognize when your problems are ones you have to work on. Otherwise, you'll end up degrading yourself, or saying something to someone with unintentional, permanent effects. Be accountable! And be productive.

Cinnamon babka! It's kinda like a cinnamon roll without glaze, but I JAM-PACKED it with cinnamon! I loooove tripling the cinnamon in a recipe, and it surely pays off here. Also, I love the artistry of the braids on the top! Not a fan of the topping the recipe had me put on top, but still tasty.~

Ooooh, we haven't made a pie in a while! And a caramel apple pie?! Yaaaaaay!!~ I could use some caramel so bad recently. There's no denying just how addicting decadent things like caramel are. I need my fix!~ Thank you to everyone who voteeeed! The babka is in the oven.~ ^vvv~

shapez 2 is such a stellar game. I love factory builders with slow, yet incredibly rewarding incremental progress. I'm playing on the hardest difficulty now, and I miss my shape-building auto factory~ ;vvv;

Aaaah, it's a gloomy, rainy morning out there. Mornings like this make me want to go lie on my back in the middle of an expansive field and just take in the rainy day. It sounds so peaceful.~

I apologize if my tonal shift to politics earlier today was jarring for some of you! But it's hard for me to pretend not to care. People are suffering! And I do my best to show love for all people. I cannot be idle and uninvolved, because that's no different to me than complicity.

There is a provision in my state's general election that would feed all schoolchildren across the state a breakfast and a lunch, at no cost to the children, parents or guardians. As someone who cares about children and has felt many, many years of malnourishment, I will rally votes for this loudly.

I was so sleeeeepy after dinner last night. I made Mexican street corn and chicken rice bowls, with homemade crema, cotija, avocado, cilantro and crushed up corn tortilla chips. It was reeeeeeeally good.~ ^vvv^

Creating stuff is really hard. You have to put your all into it, or you don't have even the slightest chance of making something worthwhile! With that being said... I love creating stuff. To be able to make things, putting my soil into them, for people to behold? It's my greatest joy.~

Spiced pear berry crumble!~ Peeling and cutting 10 cups of pear was quuiiiiite the hassle, but very much worth it for this crumble! The blackberries are nice and flavorful, and the pear softened up beautifully! I bet I could've gotten away with tripling the spices, though.~ ^vvv^
