Agreed, I have long believed prisoners (and ex-prisoners) should keep the right to vote. Not because it would be better for them (though it would) but because it would be better for the rest of us. George W. Bush and Trump would never have been president if every adult could vote. I rest my case.

The big problem is that cancer (broadly construed) is an incredible growth framework, but a terrible one for maintaining a multi-celled organism. Unfortunately, cancer also removes immune systems as a way to control life-threatening tissue damage. See, the analogy holds. Fascism is like cancer.

When Disney's The Black Hole came out in 1979, I thought the googly-eyed Cute Robots were ridiculous. Later on I thought, "No, that's exactly what designers would do." And the same goes for the intimidating, murderous Maximilian.

V.I.N.CENT (short for Vital Information Necessary CENTralized) is the cute googly-eyed levitating silver robot from Disney's 1979 live-action film The Black Hole. Maximilian is the murderous looking red robot from the same movie. Maximilian is at center flanked by two V.I.N.CENTs.

"Nell (Akiran Corsair) is a ship from the cult Roger Corman movie Battle Beyond the Stars (1980). Moveover, Nell is the sentient navigational and tactical AI that operates the ship in cooperation with it's pilot but also can without them, even able to override the pilot/gunner when she deems fit.

Nell's hull design is decidedly feminine, her prow seems to resemble large breasted woman while the wing-mounted guns appear like fallopian tubes. Some have noted that ship also resembles a charging bull. The aft tapers off like a wasp's abdomen."
