i swear to god, if your first thought when seeing a trans guy with boobs is to confront the trans male artist (with boobs) because you are worried about it being "fetish work" i need your worldview on gender to expand REAL quick

Comment reply to me on my art that features my trans male character without top surgery where the fact that he happens to have boobs is not the point whatsoever.

Comment from person says
nothing wrong with art of men being sexy. I interpreted the lines as accentuating his breasts, which I personally found odd to point out as a trans man who hates to see us underrepresented or sometimes fetishized in media, hence why! said on purpose. If that wasn't the intention then no harm done. All trans men are different, which is why I was just curious and asking a question.

I reply to this
I'm going to say this as
nicely as I can: you should look inward if your first assumption upon viewing art of a trans man (who does happen to have boobs) is that you feel the *need* to confront me because you worry my art is possibly fetish work.
Not every trans experience is the same and being on edge about depictions of trans men in art being "fetishy" is doing harm to not only the trans artists making these work, but also the trans people who *do* look this way, who do find their own bodies attractive, who do want to feel desirable and proud of who they are.
If you find trans men are underrepresented, after asking me why I draw my own character the way I do "on purpose", maybe you don't grasp that a lot of trans artists are scared to share our work when people will either hurl transphobic remarks at us... or other queer people are judgmental and claiming inadvertently our own bodies are fetish work because of the art we make.
Next time you see art that prompts you to think the same way, maybe realize that trans art is also not one singularity, just like the trans people making said art.
Some trans guys have boobs, like I do, and it's not the end of the world that art exists out there that *does* point out a trans man can have them. Even though, this art, is very much not doing that.

i lowkey have everything clear ye been on my mind since i played the scene, a look of suprise bcs of the purple glow, recognition but at the same time not wanting to acknowledge what it means (if that makes sense). with him almost touching the cube with the purple glow, reaching for it but not quite

august's reaction to the purple glow for sure, the mecha part is not as important for the character

august is such an important character for me, and being able to explore a trans character pre-transition in a safe table is so nice. im 100% gonna cry once august comes out to his friends, my baby

is a scene on august's campaign, they were dismantling some mecha from his family company bcs reasons™ and they gave him admin access but plotwist it shinned purple, color of the female side of the family (he comes from a matriarchy). thing that ofc shouldn't have happened

i do try to at least vary, bcs this tendency played me in a game i had to leave for several reasons bcs i felt like i didn't have more options than to play a healer. BUT honestly lowkey never had that realisation that i usually play protectors 😭

Here's a little sketch I did during this con's weekend. This is Seren, a tiefling bard, they belong to my bestie @derekcdesign.bsky.social 🧋 #sketch #ocs #tiefling #ocart #ocsky #doodle #dndart #art

A traditional sketch made with mechanical pencil of a tiefling. They have goat-like nose and ears, as well as two small horns that start on their forehead and go upwards. They have a nose ring and two long earrings with a star at the end. They are holding a notebook close to their body, on their arm, open. Seems that were writing with the tip of the nail of their left index finger as ink is dripping from it. They are smiling towards the viewer. They are wearing big circle glasses that seem to be going down their nose.

When we hate on these disgusting immoral evil billionaires it’s bc just look at everything Dolly did. They could be doing that. They could just be helping people and every day they choose not to help people. They choose to harm. And when they die, we’ll dance and laugh and be thankful they’re gone.
