I keep thinking about this thread. A yes-and: Freya talks about losing skills by offloading to genAI; on top of that, something that makes it particularly seductive is that it seems to grant skills you never had or planned to acquire. But to use it outside your expertise invites invisible errors.

Useful thread (tho the 5th step here doubles as an ad for Tuta's own mail service). Also Google obnoxiously considers sorting mail into separate inboxes a "smart feature" now, so you'll lose that functionality if you go through with disabling this (despite it existing for many years prior).

This is all really stupid

This DDoS seems to have been triggered by someone using Claude Code and getting banned from the site for it, intentionally evading that ban to make up a fake story about their LLM wiping their entire OS, and then firing off multiple abuse reports to our host.

It may not surprise you that this guy has some interesting thoughts on consent, or that he has multiple blog posts in which he brags about poisoning LLMs to win championships or flooding a social network with spam to give himself 1,000,000 followers.

Why are AI people always like this.
