jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 15hI assume they requested this from Trump. It will protect Russian oil while Russia can keep bombing the hell out of Ukrainian citizens (or book publishers, or bridges, or busses, or train stations, or farmers, or what else is the typical Russian target in Ukraine). 010
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 15hHe wanted to lead a country to a better future, and was thrown into dystopia. And it weighs heavy on him, you can tell by how much he changed throughout those hard years of offering peace, and getting rejected while being blamed at the same time. I’m sorry for him. But I admire his leadership. 🇺🇦 031
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 15hI feel so sorry for him. He’s a brilliant leader and he didn’t choose to be in the position he’s in, he didn’t choose war and he didn’t elect the orange flag in the wind baby that literally fucks up the world without remembering or caring what he said yesterday. 132
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 15hYou do such important work and so little is known about it. So much humanity got list in the last decades, it’s crazy and hard to digest for me. Thanks for standing together for humanity, peace, and a decent life for everyone! 000

jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Our German unions would literally put the country on hold if they wouldn’t increase minimum wage regularly. I truly cannot believe it wasn’t increased in over 15 years in the US (ours almost doubled from when it was introduced in 2015, starting with € 8.50 then, at € 13.90 this year). 2102
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Germany reached US$ 10/gal for diesel. We’re at € 2.30/liter (x1.16 currency x 3.8 liter to gallon). Just fyi. And we didn’t start the crap with Iran leading to the closure of the strait of Hormuz (wait, it’s open, oh no, it’s not, or is it?). 000
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Of course it is. What else would you call it if big corporate is not allowed to buy an election? 😜 001
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 08/09/2026The US can easily just delete the 25th amendment. It’s not valid anyways. 000

jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I think the little Antilles are just too small to show the color, but I assume those are included as well. The French won’t like it, but then, he doesn’t like Macron either 000
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Maybe he feels sorrow and wants those deported back but is too scared to send a plane, so he’s considering annexing the country of cat and dog eating gang members with a lot of guns? 😜 Or he simply doesn’t know where Haiti is 😉 000
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 08/09/2026A good coffee and a smoke would probably do him good 😉 But why on Earth would he want Haiti? Maybe to claim all those cat and dog eating people came back to the US? 🤔🤦🏽♀️ 210

jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Same in not so tiny Germany 😉 We have several election places in every village (e.g. 5 in my little 4k-village). And election is always Sundays, so most people are off work. I remember being a kid and going with my parent who always went right after church… And, there’s always chairs for elders 241
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I still don’t get how the US votes on a workday. Every election in Germany is on a Sunday and the few that have to work cast mail ballots. It can be so easy to give EVERYBODY the chance to vote… 050
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Those kids whose life changed 100% from one day to another are parents now. Their kids hear stories about the wonderful childhood in GDR and how people who were only kids glorify the past. They believe their parents. All assumptions. None of it explains the WORLDWIDE rise of extreme right parties. 000
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 07/09/2026… all of a sudden wasn’t valid anymore. I was subject to Western propaganda, I didn’t think we should embrace the Eastern parts, it felt wrong. I met a lot of East Germans who had the same feeling just vs. around. You don’t question thing before a certain age. And for kids I doubt GDR was bad. 100
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 07/09/2026I know. The 44-59 were raised in GDR and were youngsters when things changed. I believe whoever experienced it as a grown up/elderly or who even remembers after-war times is less likely to fall for propaganda. I’m in the 44-59 group as well and my life was turned upside down when everything I knew… 100
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Unemployment is not a reason. People are. Don’t ask me what’s wrong in that part of Germany. But maybe (just maybe) there’s a trauma from Russian control over decades left in the people in Eastern Germany and they lack the “hard hand” that forces everybody to be the same 🤷♀️🤦🏽♀️ 120

jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Germany. We pay as well for hospital parking (and it’s not cheap). Often there’s an option to drop someone off at ER with 5 min free parking, that’s it. There’s public transport, but you have to pay that as well. At least for the sick, health care covers hospital (10€ co-pay/day, max. € 200/year). 000
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 04/09/2026You probably are aware how it sounds if you tell Germany to “take control of Europe”, right? 🤔🙈 Asking as a German that truly just stumbled over that sentence. jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Thank you! jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 01/09/2026I live in Germany and thankfully, we do, plus cc. No need for an app and registration and I’d freak if I were just visiting somewhere and each time I would have to download an app. Abroad I often don’t have a local sim but a rental car - so how do I park then (e.g. in order to go buy a sim)? 040
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 01/09/2026That’s my perception exactly. Taken what I see and the development we’re facing, I’m a lot more afraid of artificial intelligence than of natural stupidity. 1141
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 01/09/2026And my 82y old mother is not allowed to park anymore, just because she doesn’t know stupid modern technology? jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Yeah, but then, Google is still American and I experimented a bit. Above pic was just by looking on the map (from Europe). But take a look what google does if I search for lake names… THAT must be AI 🤣 010
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Google from Germany… If I explicitly search ”Lake Ontario” it gives me both, if I explicitly search “Lake America” it only gives me Lake Ontario… Make it make sense 🤦🏽♀️ 030
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 31/08/2026I know… But to be fair, that’s not an US only problem. We have our increase in right wing Russian friendly idiots in Europe as well. People who are looking for easy solutions to difficult problems fall for the propaganda and get torn into a bubble while disconnecting to reality. 110
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 31/08/2026European experiment: * Check the map (without search function): Lake Ontario only * Search for Lake America: Lake Ontario only * Search for Lake Ontario: you get both names, the fake one in parentheses (same for the Gulf by the way) Funny how this plays out for us over here… 🤦🏽♀️🤷♀️ 151
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 31/08/2026No for us Europeans… If I search explicitly for Lake Ontario it gives me (Lake America) in parentheses, same with Golf of Mexico (the other fake name in parentheses). jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Just a bit further away from the iron curtain. But yeah, basically we all lived that way (West and East - because each side thought the others were the bad guys, nowadays, who knows who’s good or bad anymore 🤷♀️🙈). 100
jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Not fully. jusfina.bsky.social @jusfina.bsky.social · 30/08/2026And funny enough, DT put himself deliberately in a comparable situation in the US with his war on Iran… The two once world-ruling countries putting themselves into oblivion due to oligarch leaders who would do anything to keep in power. 121
