Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 2hThere is a 2D hack-and-slash game called Magenta Horizon: Neverending Harvest made by a person that is a very big fan of such action games & mechanical difficulty, where in the initial design for *all* difficulties, level checkpoints are only available once. Across genres there are kindred spirits. 110
Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Thank you! Got it, so to defeat this buzzsaw burger we have to kick it in the pants. Whhata a diabolical strategy. You charming little scamp, you. 010
Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 13/10/2026This in order to be visually consistent with the Plasma Cannon's laser colour & that of the bong-shaped switches. Yet thinking a bit further, i now realize the X on top is in line with the breakable red floor coverings that require the Void-powered downwards slam. Well wishes on the future! (3/3) 110
Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 13/10/2026The first thing that comes to mind, since coming close is dangerous because of the sawblades, is to use the Plasma Cannon to hit it from a distance when it reveals the pillar with yellow lamps. But if that was the case I think the lamps would have to be pink. (2/3) 110
Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 13/10/2026Oi mate izzat a burgy with a buzzsaw? I'm not fully sure what the instakill is. The big cross on top could signify that a downwards attack will do the trick since the sides are dangerous. But the inner parts look like a weak spot revealing itself as it prepares a horizontal turret attack. (1/3 110

Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 12/10/2026I have played and finished Darksiders 3. I had a good time with it. Kept me enticed. Even with various parts of the core combat and some elements of writing not sitting right with me, I think there's a lot of good stuff with all the Hollows, enemy designs, traversal and puzzles & things to do. 000

Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Do you use the Flame-infused Crossblade in Gluttony's phase 1 to apply a bit of damage-over-time as well? Not a game changer but it helped me on my own fight. Against some other bosses too. (3/3) 100
Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 11/10/2026I can agree with your statements about the cutscenes and about the characters, though i'm also curious what characters you mean. For me, i feel like Vulgrim got a bit more energetic. Less of a calm snake slithering through the water, more like a lizard poking out between cracks in the walls. (2/3) 200
Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 11/10/2026Nice to see someone else playing and enjoying Darksiders 3. I've known of it for a long time but only this week have I been playing it for myself, properly. I am at one of the last boss fights & almost finished the Keepers of the Void DLC too. Played on Classic mode. (1/3) 100

Does that check? 000

Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Voice acting and script are likewise cool and the music gets to be genuinely really, really beautiful. Rough parts are that it's easy to get lost and some mechanics aren't explained that well. (8/15) 110

Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I've mentioned Lost in Random to you before. A mix of realtime combat, turnbased combat and exploring each of the six districts of Random. Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 08/10/2026It is off-putting, confronting, but full of colour, quirk, beauty some melancholy and sadness. Jur the Orc @jurtheorc.bsky.social · 07/10/2026It is very heartening to see Pseudo and the Boy on here. What a lovely and fun game. Comparatively Pseudo is more on the frail side. But he's kakkin' adaptive, disciplined and has ways of turning evasion into continued offense. Fun PFP, by the way. The purple & yellow goes nice with the skin tone. 000
