Did not get the party suite at BLFC, despite seemingly having been told 6 weeks ago we have first pick of the 3 available suites based on which floor plan we needed. Very disappointed. That means a lot of DJs won't get to spin, and no karaoke anywhere at BLFC this year now. Sorry folks!

Karaoke gear all tested and ready for BLFC! Amazing how it was just a mixer, a wireless mic box, a couple of wireless mics and a few cables to expand my DJ setup to also be able to do karaoke. =) Super tight! And sounds great. Now laundry and other chores to prepare for BLFC...

I also don't buy in to the notion that furry fandom wouldn't be the same without FA. We're a bunch of tech nerds, we'd have found a way. There are over a dozen other furry image sites and community sites out there, even today. And FA killed a lot of those out of spite, too, like FAP.

When I talk about an AI assistant, I mean inside Ableton, where I can tell it "give me a 4 on the floor beat using 1970's rock band drums with a slight reverb and HPF" and it lays out a track for that which I can then tweak and edit. Or "give me a 0-1-1-2 high hat pattern", stuff like that.

Oh gosh, no, nothing like that! All it gives you is the "final song" already mastered and merged into a single audio file. You can't tweak anything, period. Any tweak would be a new prompt, a new gen. If you loved 90% of the song and just wanted to make a few edits? Too bad.

Sigh. 10 days to BLFC. 2 roommates backed-out. Carpool backed-out. Less than a week and a half and we still haven't been told if we have a party suite. Honestly, if I weren't DJing, I would just pull the plug on the trip at this point. None of my friends can even make it, why am I going?
