Doodling around with some ideas for tokens. Some are based on monsters from the wonderfully weird and fantastic OSR module "XQ1-The Castle That Fell From The Sky" by Steve Robertson. #ttrpg #tokenart #procreate #doodle

An assortment of tokens to be used in a virtual tabletop software. Zombie guards with animal heads, a more or less evil looking wizard and a ghast, which is a higher version of a ghoul.

I'm so excited for the release of Loco Motive today! I've been doing animations for them for a year or so, and one of my favorite (despite its simplicity, ahah) happens to be spoiler free, so... 😜 #pixelart #animation

I've been seeing a lot of pixel artists struggle with Bluesky's image compression, so I'd thought I'd share how to get clear, crisp pixels on the site! Share to help a fellow pixel-artist! #pixelart #tutorial

When uploading to Bluesky, remember to resize your works to 800%!

Why? Images are converted to .jpeg when uploaded. .jpeg compresses the image into 8x8 pixel blocks.

If a block has more than one colour, that dreaded compression occurs!

Bluesky now has over 10 million users, so 9+ million within a year? That's pretty nice growth, thanks to Crybaby being a crybaby 👍🏼

Holy shite, the amount of AI garbage you get nowadays when you do an image search for something on Google is astounding. And you can spot it at first glance because the output generated by those text monkeys is looking all the same across the board. What a waste of computing power and storage.

Some Frazetta pieces I did some time ago. #pixelart

Based on the poster for the movie " Luana ", 1969, painted by Frank Frazetta. A Terrible movie indeed but I liked the painting 😁

"Egyptian Queen", painted by Frazetta in 1969 and used as a cover for the pulp magazine "Eerie". It shows a scantily clad woman leaning on a marble pillar and a large cat ready to jump at a dark figure approaching from the back.

"Vampirella ", a cover Frazetta did in 1969 for the first edition of the pulp magazine of the same name. It shows a dark haired woman clad in a slim red backless cutout bodysuit standing in front of a yellow lit full moon.

"Sound", painted by Frank Frazetta with oil on board in 1979. It appeared as the cover for the Questar magazine in 1980. It shows a warrior on horse blowing a trumpet and a pillar of light hitting the ground behind with a large explosion. An alien purple-orange planet can be seen in the background.

Arcadiator V3 boxed and done. Finally finished the little freak 🤟🏽 It sounds great but it was quite a fight to fit everything in. I would have been thrice as fast if I wouldn't have chosen to retrofit it into the old enclosure. But I liked the design so it had to be done 🤷🏽‍♂️ #diypedals #guitarpedals

Enclosures are mainly there to hide the shoddy cable work within.

That's how it looks if you use wires for everything instead of soldering the switches and pots directly onto the PCB. Pure chaos 😂

Fitting it on the board was a bit of pedal Tetris 😁

Back in 2016 I built the stripboard version of The Arcadiator v2.0 from Parasit Studios. A mean octave fuzz bitcrusher machine. Now I'm trying to retrofit the v3.0 PCB version plus an LFO modboard into the old case. And I'm starting to regret it. Cable mayhem 😂 #diypedals #guitarpedals
