After years of two-dimensional stitching, I'm trying three-dimensional objects! Here's a biscornu and a padded e-reader cover.

Many, MANY months after the auction closed, here’s the final set of my garter commissions from the #ofmdcraftfair. Sueded silk with a woodland scene + antlers to illustrate a silly pun inspired by a historical poesy ring. Close-up in replies, because I’m pretty proud of my tiny hart.

A set of ribbon garters. The ribbons are pale yellow grosgrain. The fabric is cream sueded silk, with detailed embroidery. The first garter features an embroidered woodland scene of trees, flowers, a stag with antlers (aka a hart), and the words “you have my hart.” The second garter features embroidery of two antlers bedecked with flowers, and the words “please give it back.”

Hey pirate pals, here’s a callback to a happier auction: the 2nd of my garter commissions from the #ofmdcraftfair! Velvet ribbon, hellebore, and Icelandic poppy, with a steamy (for the time period) motto from a poesy ring. Close-ups below for fiber freaks who wanna ogle some tiny thread painting.
