It's always the got-dang potato bugs! 🥔🪳😤 I'm glad that this quiz taught me that those cute little guys are actually crustaceans!

What gave me away? I call them potato bugs, a freeway is bigger than a highway, I say kitty-corner for diagonal streets, and crayon directly rhymes with man.

Born and raised in Washington State, this makes a lot of sense. Even if I have co-opted "y'all", even in my professional life.

Legitimately this entire house was the ugliest house I've ever seen over the course of my nearly twenty year career. So many hideous choices were made. I did get this gorgeous rainbow when I was done though!

Wow, Seattle furries really be out here building permanently installed giant dog toilets in the middle of their houses now?

A common area of a home with high ceilings and a concrete floor. On the concrete floor off-center there is a large green shag carpet recessed into the floor. It looks like an uncanny valley patch of grass, so much so that if a dog pissed on it you could not fault them.

Of course, excited to have the opportunity again someday! I discovered last night that when my nightstand lamp is on and the other lights are off (common in this part of the year) the raised glitter outlines catch all the light and the whole thing pops like crazy!

And by the dates here you can tell I was fast approaching my FWA deadline. So glad I just barely made it though! Through this process I learned that foam sculpting is not my passion. Will I ever do this again? Hmm... 🤷 (I do want a goldendoodle though. 😬)

The eyes were really fun and challenging to make, considering I had virtually no Blender experience. Thanks to @colefox.bsky.social for helping me 3D print the blanks and letting me borrow an inkjet printer for the mesh. Also nothing like realizing that one eye is waaaay off-center...

After four years of on and off work, I finally finished making my first-ever fursuit head last week! It was such a crazy effort making this from scratch & I'm really pleased with how this husky turned out! Been working on this husky fursuit head for a while and finally started thinking towards furring yesterday. Still a ton of work to do! Trying to put minky on this nose might explode my brain.
