Lukoil: Just your typical, everyday Russian oil company that wanted to know how to target American voters. www.nytimes.com/2018/03/17/u...
Screenshot from 2018 NY Times story, linked above, says: American offshoot, Cambridge Analytica, which advised the Trump campaign. The firms’ employees, who often overlap, had contact in 2014 and 2015 with executives from Lukoil, the Russian oil giant.

Lukoil was interested in how data was used to target American voters, according to two former company insiders who said there were at least three meetings with Lukoil executives in London and Turkey. SCL and Lukoil denied that the talks were political in nature, and SCL also said there were no meetings in London.

This is wrong. In the latter, "control" is not functioning as a noun. It's an attributive noun, which is a noun functioning as an adjective, like "shoe" in "shoe store."
screenshot of a google search, answered in ai mode, about the terms "randomized controlled trials" and "randomized control trials," says: Randomized Controlled Trials (Correct): This is the official medical and scientific standard. The word "controlled" modifies the trials, meaning they are trials that utilize a control group for comparison.Randomized Control Trials (Common Misnomer): While frequently used in casual conversation and even by some researchers, it is technically grammatically incorrect because "control" functions as a noun rather than the descriptive adjective "controlled."

He's doing to our capital what Putin did to Sochi for the Olympics: massive corruption, massive mismanagement, massive disappearing of taxpayer $
Screenshot of Google AI answer says: President Vladimir Putin corrupted and exploited the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics by turning his $55 billion "pet project" into an unprecedented mechanism for state-sponsored embezzlement, cronyism, and labor abuse. Russian opposition leaders and independent investigators estimated that up to $30 billion (nearly half the budget) was stolen or misspent through inflated contracts and kickbacks.Putin engineered this exploitation through several highly coordinated networks:Monopolies and No-Bid Contracts for CroniesPutin bypassed standard competitive bidding to award lucrative infrastructure projects to his close personal friends and childhood associates, allowing them to amass massive fortunes at the taxpayers' expense:Arkady Rotenberg: Putin’s childhood friend and judo partner was awarded nearly $7 billion in Olympic contracts. His company, Mostotrest, gained a virtual monopoly over local highway, tunnel, and bridge construction through engineered tenders where competitors suddenly dropped out.

Also called landscape staples, garden stakes. They're used to pin stuff down, like fabric that goes under mulch (I think). I got 12-inch ones and pushed them halfway down into ground next to fence in areas where animals had dug under before. Created a little barrier so they couldn't squeeze under.

One doesn't, exactly. But deterring them is possible. I topped wood fences w/18-inch wire garden fences. (A coyote can jump a 6 foot fence, but *only* if they can get a foothold to propel off top. These aren't stable enough.) Also, pressed garden staples into ground to deter digging under fence.
