I found these 64 channel HV analog switches that don't need HV in, but turns out they can't pass DC because they harvest power from the signal to charge a floating gate for the MOSFETs. It's such a wild circuit I had to make it in Falstad to get it on a vibez level. falstad.com/s.php?s=uLEHuT

I do appreciate that I can tell people "trust no one when it comes to footprints... *except* the built-in KiCad built in library." Like they might be ugly, but if it's in there, enough people use it that they'd find out if something was wrong pretty quick.

I missed my monthly "don't buy a resin printer" meeting with @jumperless.org because I was hand-soldering a 3×2mm WS2811 IC to a flex PCB. If you want a Neopixel with colors other than RGB, turns out you can just make your own by having a long enough manic episode.

The funny thing is there's 2 soldering irons in the first part. The Metcal on the bottom is my new fave, and the Hakko is my backup (or for when I need soldering tweezers so I just hold both like chopsticks)

And the coolest part: the top surface is a replaceable protoboard PCB. So you can breadboard something, then if you want to keep it, solder everything in place and pull it off as a permanent PCB and just put on a fresh "Wig."

If you're wondering what I'm cooking here, it's a new thing I'm super hyped on. It's like a regular breadboard BUT: 6 holes so you can put double row headers in the middle aligned power rails a 70 pin card edge connector on top mapped to the rows (for adding a Jumperless-as-a-module or whatever)

Ignore the weirdness, the countersunk holes will be ENIG plated

@settinger.net missed his monthly appointment to tell me not to buy a resin printer so I did. These things friggin' rule (for the kinds of things I tend to make) But I also see why the washing and curing stuff is such a big deal, my tupperware full of vodka and 3 UV flashlights aren't gonna cut it.

Oh yeah ha. I should probably mention that. The reason is it replaces the existing LED wishbone board that's already on there. They don't make reverse mount 1x1mm LEDs so have a separate board to light up the logo and nano header, and it catches the light that bounces back to light up the text.

The ALASKAN BULL WORM! PSRAM Mod kits are in. I was worried about the fit around that flash chip but the vibes-based clearance was so on point you could probably get away with just friction fitting them.

Idk what to call it, it’s like a Matrix Mixer (but cooler because the backend is a Jumperless) with an insane array of 50 3-axis magnetometers so you can plug in knobs or springy door stoppers or Space Mice into the jacks and to control stuff. The functionality is kinda falling out of the design
