In S17 of #Taskmaster, Nick Mohammed dressed as a vampire for his tasks. The production scrubbed all his reflections when he's dressed like this, but the only way I knew is because someone told me about it. It's subtle and very cool.

Screen grab of Taskmaster where Nick Mohammed is walking towards Alex Horne. Nick is dressed like Dracula. Alex is standing next to a wooden wall with yellow gloves sticking out. There's a big puddle of water in the frame, and we can see Alex's reflection but NOT Nick's, because Vampires don't have reflections.

I am begging every software developer to please, for the love of God, PLEASE stop putting AI in everything. I do not want your craptastic bloat. If you must put it in, let me remove it fully instead of having to refuse it every time I use your thing. I don't want AI anywhere. Leave me alone.

The Australien Government has made an ad to announce the 2025 election, and it's surprisingly honest and informative. #auspol

most cutting thing you can say is "who's this clown?" because it implies they're a) a clown & b) not even one of the better-known clowns

This Cybertruck did not crash. It made a heartfelt and perhaps ill-advised gesture that, in the moment, might have been misinterpreted as a crash, but we should not rush to judgement.

New starter pack! Practitioners + researchers in both mental health & societal well-being, addressing the individual and collective anxiety & grief we feel in response to the climate crisis, as well as understanding + overcoming societal & psychological barriers to climate action. Who'd I miss?

It's harder to get funding for basic research projects than ever before in Australia. The @arc_gov_au Discovery Projects scheme now has the lowest “success rate” ever: 16.3%. Only 1 in 6 grants are funded. Why? The funding available has plummeted. Please help, Jason Clare MP❗️

Graph showing funded providing to Australian Research Council Discovery Projects, and the success rate of proposals, each year since 2002. The success rate has declined sharply since 2020, and is now at its lowest point ever (16.3%). The funding in this graph has been adjusted for inflation to 2023$.
