Found this among all the Duran Duran books in my bookcase… I’m gonna frame it! The b/w photo is a glossy print, so I must’ve gotten it as a trade photo at R&R when they got their Hollywood star in 1993. Why it and my own pic are glued onto pink paper, I cannot tell you. 🤷‍♀️😂

It was 23 years ago today, Duran Duran brought the band to play… at the Santa Barbara Bowl! This was the reunion tour show where I not only got to do the M&G but also take a band pic to be printed in R&R. First up: Andy Taylor during the meet & greet, signing a previous photo I’d taken with DD!

It’s “print on demand,” which under normal circumstances would mean Amazon would need a few days to fulfill an order. This tells me they printed one or more extras…

I’m a big fan of Nick Heyward and Haircut 100, so I’ll definitely be reading this. But what really struck me was his description of writing it as “therapy.” People have asked me why I wrote “Behind the Setlist: Confessions of a Non-Groupie,” and "therapy" is probably the simplest answer I can give.
