Don’t let the super rich buy (and dismantle) our democracy. Lots of small donations can make a difference! If every person who voted for me to be MP for Rongotai in 2023 gave $5 now, that would cover most of our Wellington Bays campaign costs this year. www.greens.org.nz/wlb_donate_g...
Large donations received by political parties in NZ in 2026x Act has received by far the most, followed by National, NZFirst, and Opportunity.

Just had the best experience out door knocking, partly in the rain. About 20 volunteers out, and nearly everyone I spoke to a Green supporter or voter. All but one signed our housing petition.

The National Party MPs almost get it…
Quote from the Hansard.

“Hon Julie Anne Genter: Does he accept that demand for public transport is influenced by the supply and that if a bus is coming every 15 minutes in smaller towns—like Dunedin, New Plymouth, Whanganui, Levin—there will be more demand for public transport, and what will he do to provide services?

Tim Costley: There is no public transport in Levin.

Hon Julie Anne Genter: Exactly.

Tim Costley: You can’t make it free.”

Love the Welly airport CEO lobbying the Govt to spend $3,800,000,000 of public money on a project that will barely make a difference. That’s more than twice the asset value of the airport itself. Such better, more effective, and faster solutions possible!!
Screen shot of article in the Post with my comments that there are better transport solutions for our city and region that would be faster to deliver; improvements to public transport combined with congestion charging would deliver travel time reliability within weeks (not years).

From my 3rd reading speech on the Dumping Pay Equity Act passed under urgency Wed. The “problem” with the law we passed in 2020 was that it was too successful at getting underpaid, mostly female professionals better pay.

Tomorrow I’m joining the last leg of the #RideForTalei to raise money for #SmearYourMea. Got my trusty Brompton folding bike, hope I can keep up with the roadies. You can give a little here: givealittle.co.nz/cause/smear-...
