They are already messing with my vote. I'm supposed to receive my ballot 45 days before the general election. It didn't arrive, so I'm messaging with the county elections office. They are claiming that my FPCA is only good for one election, the primary, and no longer good for the entire year.

I love old biology art. The cool thing is that these artists are able to illustrate the "perfect" version of each species, which makes it easier to identify than trying to compare dozens of photos that all are imperfect in some way to try to match against another specimen. It makes learning easier.

I look forward to living vicariously. Having had a kid under 5 for the last 8½ years, and Orlando being a 5.5 hr flight away (not counting all the airport shuffle before and after), Disney World has not been in the cards for us.

Putting on shoes, 4yo puts different shoes on each foot, sticks feet out from behind closet door, mismatched shoes. "Mama, is this right?" "Please put the same shoe on each foot." Proceeds to lay on floor and play kick the closet door before putting on the same shoes but backwards. Le sigh.

Chilly day, and 4yo dressed self as usual. In a dress, but legs are devoid of any fabric for warmth. "Do you have socks on?" "Yes!" "Do you have pants on?" "Yes!" "Really?" 🤨 4yo process to lift up dress to look at own legs. "OH!" I guess today is a yes but verify day.
