Orchid peoples, who do you think this is? It came to me as Miltonia spectabilis. High percentage spectabilis or moreliana probably, but certainly looks like a hybrid. I’m currently betting on Lavender Glade due to there being an awarded clone that’s quite similar. What’s your guess? #orchids

Random things currently in bloom here at the dungeon nursery. Am actively in the market for architect & contractor to build a greenhouse so I can reclaim the basement for normal basement things, such as the pool table we don’t use and the boxes we forgot about. #Bulbophyllum odoratissimum. Vaguely fragrant of some kind of melon soap substance. This plant is only loosely associated with the cedar shingle it was given as a mount. Some roots are attached, but the bulk of the plant exists as a hairball in front of the mount. #orchids #bloomscrolling
