4/ This 'Protected Landscapes duty' was enshrined - following a LOT of campaigning by groups like @wclnews.bsky.social @campaign4parks.bsky.social - into the Levelling Up Act passed by the last govt. However, it doesn't yet have full legal force - until the govt pass regulations to this effect.

In 1968 Finland banned for profit education, the few private schools that exist in Finland have to reinvest any profit they make or pay it back to parents. It has been in the Top 3 in education for the last 20 years. There should be no profit in education or healthcare.

Many years ago I spent several hours in a DIY hide cramped & bitten by mozzies trying to get a photo of a baby tawny owl. It showed up exactly one minute after it was too dark. At breakfast the next morning our 6 year old pointed out the kitchen window and said 'owl' as if this happened everyday
