Let's keep our conversations about drugs sensible, accurate & adult. Drug use is NOT drug addiction. Only a minority who use prohibited drugs develop drug problems (about 10%). So stop using 'drug use' & 'addiction' interchangeably. As if they mean the same thing - they don't!

Addiction can be said to be a health issue but drug use per se is not a health issue. There's far to many folk conflating drug use with addiction, and using the terms interchangeably as if they mean the same thing. Drug use per se is not an issue.

As countries realise the harm and devastation from the ill-conceived regime of prohibition and recognise drug use should never be a crime issue, - beware of embracing drug 'use' as a health issue. It isn't. Drug problems yes, but not drug use.

When people make arguments to "legalise drug 'x' because it's relatively safe" - it makes no sense - it's as if they are agreeing that more risky drugs are best prohibited??? Seriously? Prohibition only increases risk considerably. The regime needs to be challenged!
