Peyote (Lophophora williamsii) is a small thornless cactus that grows in Northern Mexico and the Southwestern US. It is sacred to the Wixāritari peoples of Northern Mexico and the US. Please avoid drug tourism, and leave any specimens you find in place.

“In life we learn  We grow  We discover  We write  We erase And write again  We weave We unravel  And we weave again  The day I learnt that the only thing I take with me is what I live, then I began to live that which I wish to take” Purépecha traditional poem, MEXICA TEAHUI
