Hard for me to work on anything with my current work schedule but the whole point of this is to put clothes on them for a style guide. I get distracted by their general ugliness. #Julearts #Fenfaxi #Urudu #Sketch

Very loose WIP anatomy (ish) sketch of Fenfaxi on the left and Urudu on the right.

Idk what came over me but here's chibi Urudu. I titled it ✨️Starslayer✨️ uwu for reasons I have not disclosed. #Julearts #Urudu #Chibi #OCsky #digitalart

Chibi version of my OC, Urudu! It is wearing sleek, copper armour and wielding an oversized copper spear. The four eyes on its face all bear a glassy, vacant expression.

Jesus Christ #Sketch #Julearts #Fenfaxi After the night I've had this really is the most I can do right now LOL. (I thought my 11 year old laptop had finally kicked it. My cat kicked my drink all over the room. The laptop lives. The cat believes he has done nothing wrong. And he's right.)

Sketch of questionable quality depicting very loose interpretations of the skeleton and muscle mass of a distinctly inhuman but bipedal critter.

I made sure to include the important bits, i.e. Uru's paunch and Fen's general...rotundity. #Art #OC #Julearts #Urudu #Fenfaxi #OCsky

Coloured digital drawing depicting my two OCs. They're both naked, which for Fenfaxi is acceptable as he is a horse. Urudu looks more like an orange demon, which is perhaps less appropriate for their current activity, which appears to be jogging towards the right.

Did a quick and dirty height comparison for Fen and Uru a while back. Helpful for me as I'm prone to transposing the numbers lol. #Fenfaxi #Urudu

Height comparison image from HeightComparison.com displaying two generic male silhouettes. The blue one on the left is labeled "Fenfaxi" with a measured height of 193.04 cm/6'4' ft. The taller, beefier orange figure on the right is labeled "Urudu," height measured as 218.44 cm/7'2' ft.

I came back and got some simple colours on this! Took me long enough... As you can see I did realize how low you can go when a tail is involved, honestly surprised this isn't exploited more often for tailed characters. We can do better!!! #Julearts #Urudu #OCsky #OriginalCharacter

Coloured digital sketch of my OC Urudu from behind. It is wearing a full length green gown, completely open in the back and faintly glittery.

I did it. This is Sweet Dumpling, because when you're dealing with Fae at least one of them is going to have some kind of bonkers name. Them's the rules. #Art #CreatureDesign #Julearts #Snail #Faerie

Alwhyte! Lord of Mistletoe and acting Regent. 100% parasitic, don't worry about it... #Art #Fae #Mistletoe #CharacterDesign #Julearts

Coloured sketch of a faerie holding a wineglass that I have yet to fill in. He has a green and white colour scheme and elongated proportions, his suit and coattails are comprised of draping leaf shapes. His limbs are digitigrade and insectoid, and he has no pelvis to speak of. He has a pale, masklike face with horns and goatlike ears, frozen in a mirthful expression with only slits for eyes.

ANOTHER ONE. Might make some small edits as I go but this is fine for now. Our second spymaster is Lady Waen. Her domain is that of the *squints* wood pigeon...very esteemed. #Art #Faerie #Pigeon #CreatureDesign #Julearts

Coloured lines of my OC, Fenfaxi, in his horse form. He is a mulberry grey with exceedingly long, curling mane and tail and an Iberian build. He's posed in a whimsical gallop, his neck arched and facing to the left.

Congrats on 400!!! Thanks for hosting and for the tag also! Yo, I'm Jule, I design creatures! I also post my own OCs a lot, and draw animals. Horses, mostly. You'll see me use the same white/grey/ochre colour palette over and over.

Drawing of a unicorn that shares body type and colouration of an elk. The horn is spiraled like that of a narwhal.

Drawing of a winged creature, with birdlike wings and legs. The body is hollow behind the sternum/keel, and she has a second pair of arms where the neck would be. These are long enough to walk on the ground and end in birdlike talons. From there she has humanoid shoulders and a long neck that is curved back towards the viewer, ending in a small, round head with a stern, beak like mouth and wing like ears. The colour is soft whites, greys, and some ocher yellow.

Drawing of the world's ugliest mercreature, facing the viewer. The tail and body is inspired by the Atlantic mackerel, and sports the same pale belly with blue and deep green stripes. Instead of turning into a human waist the fish continues up into a pair of pectoral fins and muscles, then a pair of finned arms terminating in webbed, clawless fingers. It has no shoulders or neck, instead continuing into thick gills and ending in a torpedo shaped head.

Drawing of a winged, pterosaur like creature. This is my design for Pegasus, with a pelican like face and beak. The neck is folded back like a pelican in flight, and has a yellow crest. He has a pair of horse like forelimbs, one raised and both ending in a single, taloned toe. Raised above are a pair of pterosaur wings. The hind legs are sturdier than the front and clearly meant to support his weight and have the strength to launch into the air. The tail is just a nub. He's coloured in soft whites with dark grey legs and striping on the wings.

Pegasus! Pegasaur, rather. I wanted to design something more...structurally and anatomically sound than the classic image. Took my inspo from pelicans and then pterosaurs! (Yes, he can walk on his wings.) #Art #Pegasus #Pterosaur #speculativebiology #creature #wings #mythology #julearts

Drawing of a winged creature, built like a chunky pterosaur but with an additional set of horse-like forelimbs and the beak of a pelican. The skin is overall shades of white, with a yellow beak and neck crest. The points of the legs are a dark grey, and the colour repeats in some simple stripes on the wings, which are extended above.

Saw a photo on pintrest a while back and had to recreate it with the Fools. Urudu is a trained swordsman, and Fen...has the patience of a saint, or something. (Inspo photo linked in replies!) #Art #Pumpkin #MemeRedraw #Julearts #Characters

Coloured drawing featuring two of my OCs, neither of which are clothed because I didn't want to put in the effort. Urudu, on the left, is slicing a pumpkin with sword. The pumpkin is balanced on Fenfaxi's head. He's only visible from the midsection up, and his ears are flattened to match his rather irritated expression.
