I watched the Unabomber movie on Netflix and it was so underwhelming. What a disappointingly mediocre movie. I have so few thoughts on it that my primary complaint is literally that I have so few thoughts on it. How do you make such a forgettable movie on a topic that is objectively interesting.

Officially over that awful pharyngitis. I did not know a sore throat could be that painful. It feels amazing to be able to eat solid food again. Unfortunately I'm still tired, but I might just have to cope for a while till I'm back to normal.

a skunk crawled under my car at 5AM today and almost made me late for work because that mf did NOT want to leave and I was carrying multiple things I needed to put in the back seat + passengers seat before I could run into the drivers seat. disagree with "how someone treats animals tells you a lot about their character". While I do think someone treating animals poorly is a RED RED flag, I've heard way too many stories of parents who treat their pets like royalty and their kids like garbage to believe the converse is true.

it annoys me that body doubling is mainly taught as a tool to cope with ADHD when I think it's just, like, one of the best productivity strategies ever. I think everyone should body double. I'm studying for one of the hardest exams of my life rn and having someone just sit there is CLUTCH

I submitted a short story to a contest a few months ago and while I didn't win, I'm still happy I entered. It pushed me to work on something that wasn't my novel, and I ended up having a lot of fun with it. It also gave me something to share at an open mic night, which I had never done before.
